In addition to the enclosed company profile, in October 1992 we reorganized
and expanded our staff to target a perceived market need that most other
electrical contractors had ignored, the development of project planning and
turnkey electrical installations. This enables our customers to turn over
a concept to us and walk away from the project with the confidence that it
will be completed in a timely and cost efficient manner.
In order to accommodate
this market, we added to our full time staff, Mr. Bob Cook as a project
manager. Bob comes to us from Tri Electric, where he
was a project manager over national project up to 5 million dollars in
electrical value. Bob has been placed in charge of our design build jobs
for our major
accounts.
Mr. Lewis House was added to our staff to enhance our estimating/project
management capabilities. Lew has over 20 years experience in the electrical
industry with the last 10 years serving as estimator/project manager. Lew’s
major focus has been in the industrial market overseeing projects at companies
such as Mobil Oil, Safety Kleen, Union Carbide, Sun Chemical and United
Parcel Systems. He brings strong knowledge of explosion-proof installations,
code
applications, installations, food process, conceptual estimates and design-build
projects.
Mr. John Young was added to our staff to direct and support all
electrical control concepts and designs. John worked in the industrial
environment for
Johnson & Johnson for 20 years. John also builds the majority of our
U.L. listed panels for our industrial clients.
This organization has allowed us
to capture two large fast track projects
this year, one for Helene Curtis, Inc. and the other, for Nestles’ Chocolate
and Confection.
In addition, Mr. Greg Hill has worked extensively for Federal
Paperboard Co,. Ivex Corporation and Stone Container Corporation of the
paper mill industry.
We feel this is another strong point of our company; the ability to understand
and handle large mill machinery installations and control systems.
Indicom
Electric currently does approximately 30 to 35 million dollars annual electrical
volume and can bond up to 20 million dollars in work at any particular
time.

Indicom Electric is also a U.L. listed panel shop. We design,
build and program the PLC’s for our panels and then install them in
the field. Thank you for the opportunity to allow us to profile our company
to you and any further information, financial, resumes of key personnel etc.,
will be furnished to you upon request.
Additionally, during July of 1994,
Indicom Electric and Van-Mack Enterprises merged a traffic signal and roadway
lighting into the above disciplines.
Van-Mack concentrates on I.D.O.T. and municipality projects, i.e. complete
traffic signal installations, roadway lighting, decorative lighting and
high voltage line construction. This acquisition has allowed us to enter
an exciting
new field and has added $2,500,000.00 worth of revenue and six key individuals
to the company.
In August of 2004, Indicom Electric Company purchased Northgate
Electric Company from Steve Stump. Indicom assimilated all employees and
projects
from Northgate into our organization. Northgate was a well respected company
with great employees and a 34 year track record, this acquisition enhanced
our commercial market capabilities. This acquisition also brought us Louis
Sylvester as a Senior Estimator for commercial projects. Louis comes to
us with 15 years experience in the commercial market.
Feel free to call our
office for more information or to schedule an appointment to meet with
our staff on a personal basis. Meetings can be arranged at your
facility and at your convenience.
Thank you for considering MIV (Indicom/Van
Mack Electric Companies) for all your electrical needs.
