ACS350, 0.5hp to 10hp Technical Guide
Ratings, types, voltages and construction
| Type code |
This is a unique reference number that clearly identifies the drive by power rating,
voltage, and construction. Once you have selected the type code, the frame size can be
used to determine the drive dimensions, shown on the next page.

Voltages |
The ACS350 is available in two voltage ranges:
2 = 200 - 240 V
4 = 380 - 480 V
|
|
Construction |
"01U" or the "03U" within the type code indicates the number of input phases for the power and EMC filtering.
01 = 1-phase (200 - 240V only)
03 = 3-phase (200 - 240V and 380 - 480V)
U = EMC filter disconnected, 60 Hz frequency
(In case the filter is required it can easily be connected.) |
Notes for Product Selection
General Notes
- I2N: continuous base current at 40°C (104°F) and
50°C (120°F). Overload cycle 150% for
1 minute / 10 minutes allowed.
- Continuous output current at 5O°C (120°F) shown for 230Vac NEC motor ratings.
When used at 50°C (120°F) at input voltages less than 230Vac may require larger drive.
- Current ratings do not change with different supply voltages.
- The rated current of the ACS350 must be greater than or equal to the rated motor current to
achieve the rated motor power given in the table.
- Horsepower ratings are based on NEC motor ratings for typical 4-pole motors (1800 rpm).
Check motor nameplate current for compatibility.
240Vac Ratings (pricing)
3-phase supply voltage 208, 230 or 240 V. The power ratings are valid at nominal voltage, 208Vac at 40°C (104°F) or 230Vac at
50°C (120°F).
